Packing Party2012
Packing Party 2012 was held on November 9, 2012! Over 200 volunteers worked at the American Legion Hall in Lodi to pack almost 2000 boxes! Read some of the thank you letters here.

For ten years, the volunteers of Support Our Troops have been hosting the Holiday Cheer Box Drive. Together with local residents, businesses, and schools, we share a little bit of home with our young men and women serving in the Middle East during the Holiday Season.
Please help us to collect items, names and addresses of our troops to receive boxes and money for shipping. Each box costs over $11 to ship through the US Postal Service. In order to raise money for shipping, we host several fundraising events during the year.
We also have some wonderful business partners who have found unique ways to engage their customers and employees.

Our newest Promotional Partners!
Lira's Supermarket on Highway 12 in Rio Vista set up a display of items we need so that their customers can purchase them and drop them in their collection box. We had a display table in front of the store on October 6 and on October 20. Thanks, Lira's!
Kubota Tractor in Lodi has chosen our Holiday Cheer Box Drive as their holiday project this year. They are collecting items from staff and even plan on helping at the Packing Party!
